Ladybug Baby Shower

Baby Hope's Welcoming Shower was a huge success! She is such a good baby and I cannot get over how fast she is growing.
The cake was deliciously yummy and turned out really cute. It was Amaretto flavored cake with a raspberry filling. And I just love the ladybugs on top.
The food consisted of: Meat & cheese trays, vegetable & dip trays, chicken salad sandwich tray, pickles, olives, crackers, dips & chips and plenty of fruit, including strawberries, grapes, pineapple, apples & caramel dip
The name banner was hung on the beautiful mantel.

Baby Girl Card

Card measures 4 x 4 inches, Tulip stamp is from A Flower for All Seasons from Stampin Up, along with the Designer Series Paper - Loves Me. Baby stamp is from Mega Mixed Messages from Papertrey Ink.
I used a 2 inch scalloped punch and dimensions to pop it up.

Ladybug Diaper Cake

I am very pleased with how my first diaper cake turned out. I wasn't sure how many diapers I was going to need to make the three tier cake, so I bought a box of 96 diapers and it was more than enough.
I did not want to use the standard rubber band method of rolling each diaper individually. Instead I staggered each diaper and fanned them out evenly to create my layers.
I used a 2 1/2 inch ribbon to keep the diapers together and tight, then followed up with an inch and a half of the sheer ribbon in an alternate color. The ladybugs were cut with my Cricut.

Baby Shower Banner

As the Lady Bug Shower approaches, I wanted to share the banner I made for my sweet friend's new baby. I used the Mini Monograms Cricut cartridge for the scalloped squares and cut them at 5 1/2 inches using the shadow feature.
The letters were cut at 3 1/2 inches with the Elegant Cakes cartridge. I used white glitter paper from Die Cuts With a View.
Pink and white twine was threaded through each square and then finished off with miscellaneous ribbon.
I used eyelets to give the cardstock a more secure and professional look.
The patterned paper is Deja Views - The Sharon Ann Collection. The lady bugs were cut at 1 inch using Walk In My Garden cartridge.
