Ooh~la~la...Happy Birthday!

It's a good thing that the birthdays we celebrate (in my family) in April are females. These Stampin Up stamp sets are perfect for this occasion and I just love how the cards turned out. The border punch is from Martha Stewart. Paper and ribbon are also from Stampin Up. Thanks for stopping by...

Strike A Pose

April showers bring...cute layouts?!? It's a rainy day here in Texas and a perfect time to scrapbook.
I made these cute little tulips with 3 circles cut out at the same size, using my George Cricut cartridge. The two on the sides are folded in half and the center circle is folded into a cone shape. I inked the edges and assembled, using ribbon for the stems and leaves.
Font is from the Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge, along with the butterfly below.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Stampin Up "Sunny Day" Birthday Card

It's great having these wonderful card kits on hand. I tend to not make cards until I need them and even then I wait until the last minute to put something together. This kit was purchased from Barb, aka Snowmanlover. You can click on her name to see all the goodies posted on her blog.
Have a terrific weekend!! =)

Cosmo Cricket - Material Girl - Flowers

I'm really digging the Material Girl Paper from Cosmo Cricket. I love double sided patterned paper but have a hard time choosing which side to use!
This is perfect for my hand made flowers because you can see both sides of the pattern. I used a scallop and circle punch from Stampin Up.
For this particular flower I used a distressing tool around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by! =)

Cosmo Cricket - Material Girl

I was able to get my hands on this new paper from Cosmo Cricket back in February and can't believe it has taken me this long to put it to use! I used my Cricut and Winnie the Pooh Font to cut out the word "cute" and doubled up on the letters to give it some dimension.
I used twine for the buttons at the top of the page. A heart punch from Stampin Up, then filled the heart with buttons.
The flower was made with a circle punch and double sided patterend paper.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Easter Goody Bags

With nieces and nephews and friends with kids, I am always looking for a different style of goody bags to make. These cute Easter bags were made using white lunch sacks, my wonderful Cricut and my handy ATG. The concept came from this awesome blog...Chic 'n Scratch...be sure and check it out, the projects are fabulous!
I used Storybook Cricut cartridge for the two sides of the bag and Stretch Your Imagination for the bunny. The stamped eggs in the background and Easter wishes are from Papertrey Ink. and the stamped basket is from Stampin Up.

Thanks for looking! Have a wonderful weekend! =)

Spring is definitely in the air! I am so amazed at how beautiful the Bradford trees look this time of year, so I grabbed my camera and thought I would share these photos with you.

Even the bird posed for this picture...lol.
