Baptism Card

We were invited to attend a baptism for an 8 year old dear friend. So, with the help of My Pink Stamper, I was able to create this darling card to celebrate this special day.

The image is from Paper Doll Dress Up (cut at 4 inches), the dress is cut from Die Cuts with a View glitter paper, the scalloped square punch and ribbon is from Stampin Up along with the patterned paper - Afternoon Tea, sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink - Mega Mixed Messages and the doll face is from Peachy Keen Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Tim Holtz Alterations Regal Crest

This is the first time I have ever used a Sizziz Die and oh my gosh...it was much simpler than I thought. The scary part is now that I have figured it out, I want more DIES!
This is a regular A2 size card. The image is Tim Holtz Alterations "Regal Crest." The ivy and shield were cut out of brown cardstock and the banner in light blue. I inked the ivy in green and the shield in dark brown with black around the edge. The banner is also inked in dark brown. The background paper is Basic Grey "Motifica" and the letter C is from my Thickers stash. Congratulations is a My Pink Stamper stamp. I also used pop dots to give the shield and banner some dimension.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Tim Holtz Alterations Texture Fades

These are the new Tim Holtz embossing folders. I was so happy to get my hands on this set, but will be even happier when my other 3 sets arrive in the mail.
This is a sample I embossed to give you a better view. I used brown cardstock and then inked over the top of the embossed image. This folder is called "Bingo" and fits perfectly on an A2 card.
This folder is called "Patchwork" and also fits an A2 card. I used the same brown cardstock and then inked in dark brown. I added a touch of red to this one.

These folders seem to emboss a little deeper than a regular cuttlebug folder. Which makes inking much easier. I think these will look great on a scrapbook layout.

Tim Holtz Idea-ology Goodies

I found these great Tim Holtz items in the tiny town of Whitesboro, Tx and can't wait to create something fabulous with them!

I can't get over how beautiful these buttons are. The ideas are endless!

Tissue Paper Flowers

I am so happy to show off these beautiful tissue paper flowers that my super creative Sister-in-law (Stephanie) made. She says they are really easy to make, so I'll have to give it a try sometime.
Aren't they the cutest?! They are even more cute when my 4 year old niece carries them around the house all day...lol.
This is also another one of Steph's creations...a photo/memory board. She totally read my mind! I've been wanting to make one to go under my cabinet in my scraproom and haven't gotten around to do it. Hmm...maybe I can convince her to make one for me! =)

Hope you have enjoyed this episode of "Steph's Creations"... Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Graduation Images

I have been cutting and adhering image after image and I am LOVING it! I am so lucky to have meet some nice people through my blog and with Graduation just around the corner they have definitely kept me busy with my Cricut!
These are just a few snapshots of what I have been up to lately. And believe me, if I could send you a completed centerpiece by mail AND in one piece, I would do it...othewise, the next best thing are the images! =)

Happy Graduation to those who are celebrating in the days/weeks to come!!

Elegant Cakes Cartridge - Winner

Yippee...I am super excited to receive the cartridge I won from Provo Craft today! During the Cricut Cake reveal on HSN, Provo Craft was giving away prizes on the Message Board. We had such a fun time answering "Cake" related questions and watching the Cake in action on HSN. The cakes looked FANTASTIC!
So, here is the cartridge I won and although I didn't purchase a Cricut Cake that night, I am still happy that this cartridge can be used with my Expression!

The images are amazing and I think they will look great on a beautiful layout or card. This cartridge also has a Font and I can't wait to use it!
Thank you very much, Provo Craft...This is a FABULOUS addition to my cartridge library!!

These cute boxes are simple to make and it's a good reason to use up your scrap paper!
Patterned paper is from Teresa Collins, rhinestone, stamp and punches are from Stampin Up.
Patterned paper is from Basic Grey and I made the flower out of tissue paper.
Another flower made from tissue paper, patterned paper from Stampin Up.

Happy Mother's Day, Ladies! Hope you all have a wonderful day. =)

Post It Note and Pen Holder ~ 4x4

I wanted to make some note holders for the 4x4 post it pads I had handy. Well, apparently I am not good with measurements! After 4 tries, I finally had a stencil that was a keeper!
I was able to use several of my scraps to finish decorating these holders.
I even added a slot and inserted these awesome pens made out of recyclable paper from this really cool company.
Stamps, paper and punches are all from Stampin Up.
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend! :)

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!

Well, maybe NOT an actual chicken dinner, but something much much BETTER! (lol) My aluminum foil card was chosen as the winner of My Pink Stamper's Challenge #3. You MUST check out her blog to see all the AMAZING projects everyone had submitted. The talent is overwhelming! And the prize is 8 Cuttlebug Folders...Yippee!
So for this challenge we had to "Think outside the box." Do something that you would not normally do or add something fun and crazy. I used my Fleur De Lis cuttlebug folder to emboss a piece of aluminum foil and adhered it to the card with my ATG. I also used Accent Essentials Cricut cartridge to cut the image and adhered with dimensionals. The stamp and punch set are from Stampin Up.
A big thanks to everyone who has stopped by my blog and left such sweet comments. I appreciate every single one! :)
