Christmas Card Holder

I receive so many beautiful Christmas cards each year that I wanted to make a holder that showcases each card accordingly. This is what I came up with...
I made the bow with a solid red sheer ribbon and a glittery polka dot ribbon. Both ribbons have wire and measure 2-1/2 inches wide.
I decorated each clothes pin with designer card stock and will attach each card onto the ribbon.

Oh Christmas Tree...

This year we decided to get a new Christmas Tree and went with a 7 foot skinny one. It fits so much better in front of the window and doesn't take up as much room as our previous tree.

I chose a lime green color to go with the red instead of the more traditional Christmas green. I made the bow for the top of the tree using a wide, sheer, red ribbon along with a thinner green ribbon. Both ribbons have wire which helps keep the form of the bow nice and full. I also used green mesh throughout the tree with some polka dot ribbon for the accent.

Christmas Mantel

A few inches definitely makes a difference on a mantel. Thanks to my DH who made my mantel, my Christmas garland and stocking holders fit so much better this year.

I just love the Elf on a Shelf and the story behind its meaning. The fun part is getting up each morning and wondering where he will turn up. Today I found him riding a reindeer...wonder where he will turn up tomorrow...
